Cold Shower City All Over Again?
Have you ever been standing in the middle of a nice hot shower and suddenly found yourself getting blasted with cold water instead? On the flip side of that is the situation where your water gets really hot all of a sudden but just for a split second. Either one of these situations indicates a problem with your plumbing or heating system or possibly both.
The first step in getting this problem fixed is tracing the source of the problem and the first place to start is checking if this problem happens only in your shower/bathroom or elsewhere in the house. If the problem is present in every single room then you’re looking at a problem with your heating system overall. Check the obvious stuff like fuses and pilot lights to make sure they’re not out or blown. If they are then do what needs to be done and your heating should be back in working order in a matter of minutes.
If that didn’t help then you probably have something more serious wrong there so it’s time to call in ADI to have a look instead. We’ll need to then work to isolate the problem and basically track it back to the source of the problem itself. If the problem is just affecting your shower it might be the shower unit itself or a blockage or a failure in the heating element.
The last thing you should really be doing is making a DIY repair on the issue because if there’s more than one single cause for the problem then you might manage to repair one part of it but then cause further problems elsewhere in the heating system due to a lack of experience. It’s much more straightforward to call out the ADI team to fix this problem for you instead.
